OCHRACEOUS BULBUL

DESCRIPTION

One of the larger bulbuls, with strings bill; grey brown above and below; slightly grayer on sides of heads, with throat white and often puffed out; short, eremitical crest rofous or ochre-brown. Sexes are alone

DISTRIBUTION

Resident in S Indochina and from c. 14 deg N in Peneinsular Thailand, Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra and Borneo.

HABITS and HABITAT

In continental Asia this is a lowland bird, but in Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak it is confined to slope and mountains, from c. 700m upwards. It occurs in pair, often in association with mixed foraging flocks in the middle story of montane forest. Breeding occurs in c. Feb- Jully. It has a range of hoarse and sweet note, delivered in a rather randome series.

ABOUT PHOTOS PLACE AND DATE TAKEN

I am not sure of whether  this below photos are  OCHRACEOUS BULBUL or not, once any change of the names of the birds, I will amend accordingly. Not so many Bulbul photos presented to you only three, I would say those birds are unexpectedly birds, may be some day I have to remedial.

The birds as below photo are located at Awana Genting Resort  however it may located other mountain at Peninsular of Malaysia. The photo were taken at  Sunday 21st.
